-Alive and Kicking-

Ok ok, i know its been a little too long since my last post. Unfortunately with the wedding, C being away on her honeymoon, Ice working 13 hour days now and a minor problem with our ISP. i just havent have the time to get in and post. But here i am now.

So here's an update.

With Ice now KM at the pub, i rarely see Him these days. We're both up and gone early and He isnt home until really late every night. Its the norm now for Him to work around 12 - 13 hours a day. i only get to see Him on our day off which is Sunday. And then i dont want to be near the computer cause i'm spending time with Him.

Work for me has been very busy lately as well. With Rev. Canada coming in a couple weeks ago to do a spot check on the files we keep etc etc. Which is my dept. so i had to spend 2 weeks organizing 7 yrs worth of dusty old files to make sure everything the woman might need was ready at hand and easy to get to. Then it was month end, yay! More reports to print off, double check and balance, inventory (which i only got finished today!), and now the students are back. So the store is twice as busy as it was a few weeks ago.

As for C's wedding. It was lovely. As she swore, it didnt rain until the reception had started. The ceremony was a tad late getting started as the Groom forgot the marriage license at home. So we had to detour home to pick it up. Opps! Everyone had a lovely time. She looked radiant and he cried when he saw her.

Getting our hair done was an interesting endeavor, at least for me. Those of you who know me, know i have very long, very straight hair. C wanted it down and curly for her wedding. i warned the stylist that my hair doesnt hold curl very well. She was sure the rollers and sitting under the heatfan for 20 minutes with lots of product would do the trick. Ha! i showed her. First it took 3 of them just to get the rollers in my hair. Thats how much hair i have. LOL. And as soon as she took the rollers out, what did my hair do? Fell bone straight to the small of my back. i didnt say i told you so as she broke out the curling iron and had to curl my hair nearly strand by strand with lots of hairspray to make sure it held. But finally hold it did. At least until after the pictures were done. Then it started to fall.

On the picture note, there is a pic coming of Ice and i all decked out for the wedding. i'm just waiting for the photographer to email it to me and i'll post it.

Of course now that C's wedding is all done, its my turn. With the date set for June 23rd, 2007, i have to get cracking. Tonight she and i started brainstorming a few ideas. Reception sites, flowers, picture sites. i have alot of great ideas and as they develop i'll keep you posted. For now i'm off to hunt up a few price lists for those ideas.

Until later,

Always His angel[IW]
